The initiative of OGAE Greece's Honorary President Mr. Alexandros Roussos the song which represented Cyprus in 1982 'Mono i agapi', will be released in CD soon. That was the second attempt of Anna Vissi in Eurovision after 1980's entrance for Greece which led to an average 13th place. Mono i agapi is highly considered as one of the best ever Cypriot entries and it was ranked 5th. The song itself, though, was released in 1982 as bonus track in the Cypriot album of Anna Vissi. The song was not even mentioned in the album cover but only in the sticker on the album cover. The song has not even been included in any of Anna Vissi albums ever.
Since Anna Vissi decided to participate in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest and with the initiative of OGAE Greece members the upcoming days/weeks the CD single Mono i agapi will be released by Minos EMI. It will also include the 1980 entry of Greece with Anna Vissi "Autostop". The CD single is expected to be sold out immidiately but if Minos EMI makes some provisions the CD single will also be available during May, so many of your visiting Greece at the time, will be able to obtain it. A marvellous idea and the best present for Eurofans.
