Everybody is one and unique , so is Anna Vissi ... Even if Paparizou succeeds to build such a career , her voice is quite different and she can not "replace" Anna anyway . Did anyone "replace" Bellou , Callas , Mousxouri ?

I think that the era we are living can be defined by its "quick consumption" needs , there are too many singers that have temporary not to say "seasonal" hits , one season are on the top and the next season they are all forgotten, leaving the stage to others ... Singers of the previous years were more "rare" maybe because they faced more difficulties to become what they wanted , the mass media were not so advanced and nobody could become famous in just one night (like now) .. That's why we can still remember their names whereas the new singers are countless and sing songs similar to each other ...  

Here all fashion models try to find a way to become singers before they leave the fashion stage , singers try to "jump" to tv shows when they feel they are getting older etc etc .. Everybody is focused on how to earn money and not how to "produce" something good ... 

Buying an album was "something" for us and our parents , no video-clips were being produced to promote the songs and we were patiently waiting to watch our favourite singer being hosted by a tv programme in order to listen to his/her songs ... Now , the internet and all other facilities have made everything so "easy to reach" that I don't believe there will be such a "magic" around a performer not to say that there won't be any performer deserving it ...
