For now,I am posting a review for "Call Me" from one of Americas top news websites.
The review was writen by DJ JST (Jason Scot Taft)... a DJ, Composer, & Producer of Electronic Dance, Trance, House, and Hi-NRG music. With 16 years of professional music training, he holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Technology & Composition from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He gives "CALL ME" ***** (5 stars) and .....here you go with the review...
""""""Anna Vissi’s US Debut single “Call Me” is sure to be a club anthem for 2005! The combination of Latin flavor, tribal rhythms, and a very catchy refrain, along side a solid vocal performance will seal this track’s success.
The single came packaged with three solid remixes by some of today’s hottest DJ’s: Mike Cruz, Lee Cabrera, and Friscia and Lamboy. They all deliver substantial impact and really take this song to the next level. I am disappointed that I was unable to get my hands on the original version, just to compare. The Friscia and Lamboy mix incorporates a mystical string hook reminiscent of ancient music. The deep drumbeat also provides drive right from the get-go. Two thirds of the way into the mix, the synthesizer “stabs” against the fast bongos create the right amount of intensity needed to keep the crowd enticed on the dance floor. I can only imagine hearing this while the lights go wild. The eleven-minute Mike Cruz Tribal Edit has quickly become one of my favorite tracks to spin. It uses that popular “foghorn” synthesizer, which is great for peak hour dancing. The swooping effects and fast rhythms help to make this version quite good. Finally Lee Cabrera’s signature dark remix is a perfect track to layer with other dub versions and grooves. I see this remix being played often once the song itself becomes better known. The melodic content focuses just on the refrain, which will give the crowd something familiar to chant as the DJ heads into an after-hours set.
At first, I was not a huge fan of the lyrics, just because they sound so desperate and needy. But there is enough substance here to overlook this minor turn-off.Keep your ears open for Anna Vissi’s “Call Me.” This is total A material."""""
OHH I HAVE READ THIS REVIEW!! REALLY THANK YOU FOR YOURR JOB AND WE CAN'T WAIT YOUR NEWS FROM ANNA'S CONCERTS IN USA.. WELCOME AND FROM ME TO THIS FORUM!
