I don't know anybody at Sony or any other record company but I exchanged emails with a couple of DJ/producers and they were kind enought to let me know that they are part of Anna's project, they are currently working on matterial for the album and that the album will be a US release. I don't know if the album will be released under Sony or some other record company but I assume that Sony will definitely want to be part of the project .. Anna is GOLD and they know it! -- Edited by GreekCA at 01:03, 2005-10-09 Anna is more than Gold. She is Priceless!!! One of a kind.

hmm...I dont know....I dont think Sony BMG is willing to take a bet on an English Ablum. You all saw what they did with "Everything I Am". They did not advertise it atall, and they did it as an import. I had read a costumer review on www.Amazon.com about it, and I hightly agree with it. It said that Sony BMG was affraid to put money into it, and market it all around the world, because Anna was 44 then, and they didnt think she could become big. It was produced by very big names, but yet nobody heard of the CD. Anna will be 48 in December......Maybe Sony BMG has changed there minds because they saw that "Call Me" was a big hit in the USA. I dont think that Moda could release it, because it is still a small company.

I'd be interested to know who makes these sweeping statements...is it everyday people like us in a forum setting? Or music critics???
Personally, I have grown tired of misinformation - everyday 'people' judging Anna Vissi's worth according to her 'age'... ??? He-llo???? I never knew that performing came with a 'use by' date... In my view, the 'older' the singer, the better!
How do we account for the likes of Barbra Streisand (and other singers for that matter) who've been in the game for years and years and who can STILL belt out a ballad??? I recently saw a show with Australian DIVA Renee Geyer...she's almost 60 and boy...can this woman SING!!!!
I do not accept these 'biased' points of view...in fact, I reject them. A performer's age should have NOTHING to do with his/her credibility.
Anna Vissi is TIMELESS, not OLD. PERIOD.

Im just saying, that sony looks at it that way. You cant doubt that. Dont you think if Anna was like she is now, and in her 20's, she wouldnt be backed by sony more? I love Anna at her current age too.
