Yes I know its speculation, but everyday more and more news stations are reporting it. And Greece can win 2 years in a row, it is possible. In the early 90's Ireland won 3 years in a row!

Anyway my thery on this topic is that If you want to succeed you must take a chance. Anna took a chance with Call Me, and look what happend. It was a HUGE success.

About the negative publisity, she will get it either way. And its not the end of the world if she at least makes the top 5. Anna can handle it, she's strong. Even Paparizou's negative publicity (her having cancer and being very sick FAKE) didnt really hurt her. She repackaged Proteriotita AGAIN with the mambo single and it has already gone platinum!

You nevewr know. Anna might have already said yes! lol. According to the Eurovision rules, the brodcaster (ERT) has to wait til Dec. 31 to make an announcment. And the all the news are saying that they are gonna make the announcment early January.

According to secure information the top Greek star Despina Vandi visited at 14:00 (local time) the ERT Headquarters to meet the ERT officials regarding the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. The news coming out of the meeting are not yet known but from what is spread from sources near the artist, Despina Vandi is not interested into representing Greece. The discussion could have also focused on the co-hosting of the show with Sakis Rouvas.

The current news from the Greek front have as follows: intense rumours around Anna Vissi seems to verify that the negotiations with ERT are in a good way. What some posted as forum message, that the deal has been finalized with ERT and Anna Vissi are officially denied by ERT officials. Last week Sakis Rouvas met with ERT to discuss his role as host and maybe (knowing how Sakis goes on stage) what kind of acrobatics we will see from the magnificent Greek music star next May.

Last night Helena Paparizou was interviewed on Alpha Television and the show of Nikos Hadjinikolaou "Prosopa" (Portraits). During the interview Helena was asked whom she would like to see representing Greece in the 2006 Athens Eurovision Song Contest. She said as first name, Anna Vissi and she also proposed Mario Fragkoulis in case Greece wants to participate with something different.
