The story began on early December as oikotimes.com first (of course) wrote that ERT was about to propose to Anna Vissi. Back then the real story was, ERT only sounded Anna Vissi via mediators. After Christmas there was a first answer by the mediators to ERT which was negative. Then everyone tried to find out who would be the 2006 Greek representative for Eurovision 2006. Yesterday oikotimes secure sources told us there was a meeting with ERT. Tonight the rumors were confirmed.
We spoke with Anna Vissi's official fan club (which -- for the record -- has excellent and close relations with the Greek diva) and confirmed that ERT and Anna Vissi are back again in negotiations. The outcome of negotiations will soon be known. Anna Vissi is number one in Greece and she is the one of the few Greek artists who can undertake the responsibility to represent Greece in the 51st Eurovision Song Contest which by the way will be held in Athens.
The story is in development and we are awaiting more news soon. Anna Vissi (to remind you) represented Greece in 1980 with the song "Autostop" (13th place) and Cyprus (her birth place) in 1982 with the song "Mono i agapi" (5th). With internationally oriented career Anna Vissi is considered also top in many countries. In the US achieved the unbelievable, to enter the Radio Billboard Chart, placed 1st! with the song "Call me" last year. We wish the final answer to be positive. We kindly thank the Anna Vissi fan club.
