Anna Vissi left Malta this morning on a direct flight to Athens together with the Maltese singer Fabrizio Faniello, who this weekend will be in Athens rehearsing together with his choreographer and dancers the act that will accompany his song in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest.

On Anna Vissi's personal invitation ESCMALTA.com was present at the Malta International Airport. Anna wanted to give her last message to the Maltese people and all visitors of the website.

When asked about her visit to Malta, Anna stated that she loves the Maltese islands and especially the people, who like the Greeks and Cypriots, are colourful, friendly and very hospitable. Anna also exclusively told us her plans to hold a concert in Malta after the Eurovision Song Contest, no matter what the result of the contest will be.

Anna Vissi went on to say how much she loved the Maltese people, she mentioned specifically Claudette Pace, Frederick Zammit, Martin Vella, Claire Agius and the ESCMALTA.com team who during these past days accompanied Ms. Vissi to most places she visited.

Being asked whether her performance in the final night will be in the same passionate way as it was in the Greek national final, Anna Vissi commented that in the Eurovision final the performance will even be more passionate.

During her last comments Anna Vissi sent all her regards to the visitors of this website and wanted to thank all Maltese for their hospitality. She promised that she will be back soon not only for her concert but also for a holiday, since she believes that the Maltese islands are an ideal vacation spot.

At the end of the interview, Anna Vissi, wanted to give a message to all the people around the world. She said that her latest album, Nylon, speaks about the kind of love that we see many times around us. A fake love made out of plastic, hence the title Nylon. She encouraged each and everyone of us to find the true love and cherish that love and that person. "Whether it is true love between a man and a man, a woman and a woman, and also between a man and a woman, once you find that true love, cherish it!"
