GREECE - In 2006 Anna Vissi represented Greece. She most recently was on a Eurovision stage in 1982 representing Cyprus, thus 24 years before. Before that she also represented Greece in 1980. This makes her not only the artist with the longest gap between two participations, but also with the longest time gap between the first and last appearance (26 years).

Well , Greece must be proud of her not because of these two stupid records but because Anna was the best singer with the best song and the best performance this country has ever sent to Eurovision ! As for the time gap , the record should have been "the artist who managed to return to the Eurovision stage after 24 years with a look and performance 24 years younger than what she had in her last appearance " !!!!
